What are your options for diapers in Bali? More than you'd expect.

Good to Know

You can find diapers across Bali without much effort. MamyPoko is the dominant brand and comes in both tape and pants style. Huggies and Merries are also common. The best selection is at the larger supermarkets like Pepito, Bintang Supermarket, and Carrefour (now Transmart) in the Kuta-Seminyak area.

A pack of MamyPoko Pants (44 to 58 count depending on size) costs about 80,000 to 130,000 IDR (5 to 8 USD). Huggies and Merries are slightly more expensive. Smaller convenience store packs of 6 to 10 diapers cost 20,000 to 40,000 IDR for when you just need to get through a day.

Pepito Market in Seminyak is the go-to for expat families and has the best selection of both local and imported baby products. Bintang Supermarket (multiple locations) is a close second. In Ubud, the Delta Dewata mini-market carries diapers and basic baby supplies. Canggu has a few mini-marts on Jalan Batu Bolong that stock diapers. The small warungs and Circle K convenience stores carry emergency packs but the selection is one or two brands at most. If you're heading to the Gili Islands or Nusa Penida, buy everything you need before leaving Bali's main tourist strip because options on the smaller islands are very limited.

With three kids we go through diapers fast, so we usually do a big shop at Pepito or Bintang when we arrive and stock up. MamyPoko Pants work well and the kids never had rash issues with them. Wipes are available everywhere too. Swim diapers are harder to find but Pepito sometimes has them.
